Drumline

Feature 1

This exercise packet was compiled from a larger collection of exercises that I was exposed to over the years as a student in various drumlines.

I currently use this fundamentals packet as a foundation or starting point with most groups I teach. The main reasons being, in order to play clean with a drumline, I believe it is crucial to have a solid understanding of stick grip/technique, stroke types, universal basic rhythms, and approach to desired sound quality.

This packet is meant to be played in unison at a variety of tempos and dynamics before going into tenor/bass drum splits and variations.
